About this course
This 4 hour course is designed for those who have a fear of the water and would like to be given the tools to help overcome it. The course takes you through various activities to help make you feel more comfortable in water environments.
Our experienced coaches will be on hand to encourage you, push you and support you through what can be a frightening experience if left to do it on your own.
The course also sets you up with the foundation to progress into the next course, which provides you with the skills to swim a complete lap of freestyle. Refer to course 2 description.
Who is the course for?
If you have a fear of putting your face in the water or a fear of floating, then this is the course for you. You will build confidence with like-minded people that share the same fears as you, in a safe and quiet environment.

Saturday 6th March - 12.00pm till 2pm AND Sunday 7th March - 10.30am till 12.30pm

About this course
You will learn the fundamentals of swimming freestyle, with the goal of swimming a lap of freestyle with ease. Skills learnt during the course will also give you the confidence to tread water, participate in supervised snorkelling and gain confidence in deep water.
Who is the course for?
The course is designed for people that a time poor and may struggle to stick to regular class times. It is a fast-track clinic to build towards learning to swim a lap of freestyle.
Who will be running this course?
The program is conducted by our coaches who have more than 30 years of experience between them. This means you’ll receive an explanation and understanding of the purpose and ideas behind each skill and technique. After the clinic, we will provide you with a link to all the drills taught throughout the clinic, which all have explanations recorded on them to give you the best chance of remembering and executing each one correctly.
How is the course structured?
The course has 3 levels and runs over 2 days, the 3-hour session on Saturday afternoon (including breaks) covers level 1 & 2. The 2-hour session on Sunday morning covers level 3.

Saturday 6th March - 2.30pm to 5.30pm AND Sunday 7th March - 8am till 10am
