Video Analysis Clinics

We are offering a freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke & butterfly video analysis clinic for squad level swimmers during the school holidays. Swimmers will receive both underwater and above water filming of multiple different angles of their stroke including their start & turn.

Who is the course for?

These video analysis clinics are ideal for swimmers who compete at any level, from school competitions through to national events. Our nationally qualified coaches use their expertise to identify technical errors and inefficiencies in each swimmer’s stroke, providing clear, practical feedback to support ongoing improvement.

How many swimmers per group?

A maximum of 6 swimmers are in the group with 1-2 coaches.

Who are the clinics designed & delivered by?
The programs are designed & delivered by our coaches who have more than 30 years of coaching experience between them. This means you’ll receive an explanation and understanding as to the purpose of the filming and ideas behind the analysis.

What can I expect?

The program for each clinic will follow the below guidelines:

• Welcome & Introduction – Meet the coaches and hear what to expect from the session.
• Filming – Each swimmer will be filmed both underwater and above the water while swimming their stroke.
• Group Video Analysis – Coaches and swimmers sit down together to review the footage on a TV screen, with feedback provided for each swimmer.
• Practical Application – Swimmers head back into the pool to work on the specific areas for improvement identified during the analysis.
  

What level are these clinics aimed at?

Swimmers must be aged over 12 and have prior knowledge for the stroke, not learning the stroke. At a minimum swimmers must be able to complete 50m unassisted for each stroke.

Stroke Clinics

A technique based clinic focused on developing and refining skills across all four competitive strokes, designed to help swimmers improve efficiency, confidence, and overall performance in the water.

Who is the course for?

If your child swims competitively (competing from school level to national level) or simply swims for fitness, then these skill based clinics are for you.

How many swimmers per group?

A maximum of 15 swimmers are in the group with 2 coaches.

Who are the clinics designed & delivered by?
The clinics are designed and delivered by our experienced coaching team, who collectively bring over 30 years of coaching experience. This ensures swimmers receive clear explanations of the purpose behind each drill, and a strong understanding of the key concepts covered throughout the clinic.

What can I expect?

The program for each clinic will follow the below guidelines:

• Welcome & Introduction – Meet the coaches, hear what to expect from the clinic
• Warm Up – Swimmers will complete a structured warm-up in the water to prepare their bodies for skill work. 
• Skill Breakdown & Demonstration – Swimmers will work through a series of progressive drills designed to build understanding, reinforce correct technique, and improve efficiency in the water.
• Common Errors – Coaches will highlight common technical errors seen in the stroke and explain why they occur. Swimmers will then complete targeted drills aimed at correcting these errors, with individual feedback provided where possible.
• Wrap up & Questions - The clinic will conclude with a recap of the key learnings. Swimmers will leave with focus points they can apply in their regular training, and there will be time for questions from swimmers and parents.
