STROKE CORRECTION

Stroke Correction (45 mins)

This session is great for swimmers looking to improve technique or skills (e.g. turns or starts) to either be more efficient in the water to make your swimming a little easier, increase your speed for faster times or to prevent injuries that may occur due to poor technique.

Multiple sessions are great for keeping on top of the swimmer with these changes or give time to work on a number of issues without overloading the swimmer in one session.

Stroke Analysis (1.5 hours)

Your stroke will be filmed and analysed during the session to pinpoint improvements which will help reduce your overall swimming time. Swimmers will then have the opportunity to work on the elements identified in the pool ensuring you are correcting any errors.

A copy of your underwater filming & commentary will be provided to you at the end of the session.

Who's it for?

Triathlon Focus

Athletes will be provided with tailored advice on how to become more efficient & faster in the water with a one-on-one session focusing on improving elements of their technique.

During the Stroke Analysis sessions, underwater filming will be used to identify specific areas of improvement for the swimmer to work on during the session and in their regular training environment.

Competition Focus

Swimmers can choose to focus their session on any of the 4 strokes – freestyle, butterfly, backstroke or breaststroke as well as starts & turns.

During the Stroke Analysis sessions, underwater filming will be used to highlight issues with technique and specific drills provided to help improve these areas.

Efficiency Focus

Improve your technique with some expert advice on your stroke.

Sessions will cater to the individual which may include breathing, kicking, body position and how to correct any errors for maximum speed and efficiency.
