Our primary objective is to provide squad sessions that prioritize four key areas. These areas are integral to creating a positive and secure environment for our swimmers, promoting their development not only in terms of their swimming abilities but also as individuals.
We place a strong emphasis on ensuring that swimmers have a great time during their sessions with us.
This enjoyment extends to the activities both in and out of the pool, the challenges they face, and the various events and clubs they can participate in. We want every swimmer to relish their time with our team.
Element Swimming is a club that places technique at the forefront. We believe in perfecting a swimmer’s stroke before pushing them towards rigorous training.
It’s our belief that efficiency in stroke is crucial before building fitness. This method has yielded impressive results, producing State and Regional record holders, national-level swimmers, and national age medalists within just four years of our competitive swimming program.
Beyond the competitive aspect, our swimmers leave our program with the confidence and competence to swim effectively for many years.
Whether a swimmer aspires to compete on a national, state, district, or even local level, our program equips them with the skills to excel.
We are also affiliated with both Australian and Queensland swimming organizations, enabling swimmers to compete at various levels, including club nights hosted by the schools we operate from. This engagement in competitive swimming fosters a deeper connection to the sport and its offerings, both in and out of the pool.
We recognize the significance of developing not only skilled swimmers but also good individuals.
This is achieved by instilling values such as respect, mutual consideration, punctuality, and effective communication. For example addressing others by their names, encouraging team members, displaying positive body language and gestures, taking on leadership when necessary, and more. Our commitment extends to fostering good people before good swimmers.
